Hi! I noticed this post above and thought it might help. Good luck! I've been a sad mom and am now doing better -- hang in there! it's all worth it.
The difficulty with detecting BP2 is that the first few hypomanic episodes are easily overlooked and unrecognized. Check out the following description. Try to look back over your life beginning from about age 10 and see if there were any times that would fit the description of mania. A couple of days, up to a couple of weeks. I don't understand how bipolar depression is treated. Do I take a mood stabilizer with the anti-depressants, then they suddenly start working?
