I think we all went through the scared and confused stage!!! I understand how you feel. I was very resistant to taking meds. But, when my misery from depression & anxiety became more than my fear of the potential side effects, I took the plunge. I have heard that the s/e's from Lex are less severe than other meds people have taken.The first 2 weeks were uncomfortable for me, but I was very functional. I went to work, took care of my family . . . and went to bed around 9pm every night! The good people on this site helped me a lot. After 2 weeks or so, it got better and it's continued to get better since then. I'm at about the 3 month mark and feeling pretty darn good!
