I'm going to be a little scant on the info here because I don't have my references in front of me, but this is what I recall: Selegeline (Deprynel and Jumex I believe are two of the trade names) is often prescribed with PEA (phenylethylalanine) because the two are thought by some to be necessary for maximum dopaminergic effect. Some psychobabblers have reported remarkable success with the combination. There are also various supplements available from health food stores which can support the action of the sel. and PEA.
Note: This is one of the combos I will be trying if my current med trial with Parnate is not successful. This choice is after lots of research and nearly 30 years of treatment (now in a resistant phase) for major depression.
