Boy, Im glad you said that, I just switched back to Nardil and finding it not working as well as it used to. In fact just went up to 60mg where I used to only have to take 45. And that SMELL.... Will try increasing dose, and if that doesnt work will go back to Marplan.
Dont know what GAD is, so dont know if it will affect it. I did find Klonopin more than anything else seemed to help the stimulating effect of the parnate or Marplan when it got too much.
Yup, Ive taken all three. All worked, but I also found Parnate too stimulating. Marplan is kinda in the middle...more than Nardil and less than Parnate, so its definitly worth a try for you.
Good luck and let us know how you do.

I have taken Nardil for 12 years and Pfizer bought out Park Davis the origional maker. It suddenly stopped working in August of 03 after the FDA made all companies take out Gluten because some people have allergies to it. I have found out Pfizer changed the formula with FDA approval of course, who's side are they on? Not ours that is for sure. So I'm looking for something to take the place of it. Tried Tricyclics and SSRI's and some of the odd ball stuff. Only Nardil was effective for my SSAD, Atypical Depression and GAD along with Valium. Has anyone had luck with Marplan for the conditions I have listed above? Tried Parnate and found it far to stimulating, most likely due to my GAD. Thank's for any help I can get!
