> Be careful. Delayed for now, but eventually it may be not at all. With Prozac I thought it was cool at first too, but as months turned to years performance and desire began to fade. There is a lessening of interest that is so slow and subtle, it takes time to spot. When meds knock out your libido and your erections that is depressing. Try a dose of Viagra. Your doctor will write a scrip like he's earning frequent flyer miles for it. Just say things aren't what they were when you were seventeen. They can't wait to give you this stuff. You can break up the pills. It is rocket fuel. Viagra alone has been shown to help with depression.
Seventeen was not that long ago for me, so I don't think this will be much of a problem.. I think a lessening of libido could help my depression as well.. maybe I wouldn't be so depressed if I wasn't thinking about sex all the time (i.e. how I hardly ever get it), then I could concentrate on other things..
who knows, with less of a libido I might actually do something with my life!
thanks for the replies.. to the person that said they were on Lexapro and Celexa at different doses: 10mg Lexapro = 40mg Celexa, so that provides a basis for comparison.
