Before asking my pdoc for this, I tried to think of the effects this would have on my future prescription requests. I realized that if I were to go in there and ask for Nembutol, he would more than likely say no and offer me what he refers to as a hypnotic (the prescription sleeping pills like Sonata). I have heard that those just make people really groggy and feel nasty and I've taken Trazedone before, and I didn't like that one either (though I don't believe Trazedone is a hypnotic, I'm not sure). Anyway, I went in and told him about my sleeping habits (or the lack thereof) and he started prescribing me antipsychotics that were proven to cause a lot of drowsiness (like Risperidol). He told me to take them at nighttime before bed. Anyway, after this long post, I'm trying to say, that maybe something like that might help you. I have to admit that the anti-psy. really make you sleep through the night, plus they will probably help with the panic attacks. What do you think?
