Remeron - Grogginess

Hi there - My doc put me on Remeron 30mg QD at night. I'm one of those that started taking Paxil when it first came out and cannot get off of it because the withdrawl symptoms are so bad (extreme vertigo). The idea is to wait until the Remeron gets to steady state and titrate down on the Paxil. Then stop therapy all togther.
My question is regarding side effects. I'm on week two and I still have a hell of a time getting out of bed in the morning and when I do I feel groggy as hell. Does this side effect go away over time? I'm also extremely irritable... anyone else have this as well?
