Hello, Klonopin has been shown to be effective for social anxiety, however, if your condition is more situational you may consider a beta blocker.
Klonopin is notorious for percipitating depression or depressive like symtoms in those who are susceptible. Sometimes an ad can be used in conjunction with klonopin in low doses to alleviate this problem usually you are just better off to discontinue the Klonopin. It does also cause dependency when used longterm, therefore, you may want to consider an anti depressant if your social anxiety is more generalized.
