Do asthma meds have any side effects? Such as fast heart rate? Or rebound?

I get bad breathing problems when the ADD stims I take wear off, and I am considering treating the asthma with an inhaler. But I am concerned that there might be cross-med side effects.

Thanks for any info on your experience with asthma inhalers. I am very nervous about using them.

> Hey terrics...singulair is a pill you take once a day... before I came across singulair, I was using my ventolin inhaler at least once a day...The day I took singulair was THE last day I have ever used a rescue inhaler... also, the first couple of doese of Inderal gave me very little trouble (as far as asthma) It is a wonderful medication...you may want to try a small does, it comes in 10mg pills....
