I've actually heard a lot of stories like this and to be honest, they scare the living daylights out of me. So are you telling me now that you've tapered off Klonopin (after how long using it btw?) that you're permanetly worse than you were before? Did you taper properly? While I've heard horror withdrawal stories, I've also heard stories where people actually taper at an EXTREMELY slow rate where it takes them 6 to 12 months to be done using it. These are most of the stories that seem to be "successful" discontinuation.
I'm interested to know more about how long you took it, why you upped your dosage, and also how you went about the tapering process.I am currently taking a total of 1.25mg a day between my doses and I dont ever plan on upping this. I am hoping to be one of the lucky ones where an increased dose in not required over time, as this is very common with Klonopin. If I do start feeling less relief then I might just start the tapering process and get off it. Taking over 1mg of this stuff already concerns
the bejesus out of me, I'm definitely not going to take any more.Anyway, I dont know what I'm getting at. I guess I am just praying that I can at some point be one of those "success" stories in regards to long term usage of Klonopin. Until something better comes along anyway...
