Have been on 225mg of Effexor for some time now. On th 9th day after increasing my Remeron to 30 mg, I had spells of flushing, irritability, problems with my eyelids (felt like muscles were in spasm-- keeping my eyelids open but not all the way open)and a very reduced sense of smell. Symptoms are almost all gone now that I've dropped the Remeron back to 15 mg. Too much serotonin? Anyone had similar eyelid problems? It's kind of scary.
