After 4 years on Prozac, my GP put me on Paxil. The Paxil worked for me for 3 years but I began to notice some OCD returning. As I have a history of building up a tolerence to AD, I requested that my GP give me something else. 5 days ago I started on Lexapro and started withdrawal from Paxil. My OCD and depression seem better already, eventhough I am experiencing major "zaps" due to withdrawal from Paxil. I had my thyroid "nuked" 2 years ago and hypothyroidism finally under control as of December. Paxil, thyroid problem and menopause caused a 40 pound weight gain. Also, Paxil left me feeling "neutered" sexually. Will I be better off on Lexapro??? I could use some support right now. I'm a little unnerved. Faye
