Toph,
Rapic cycling means (offically) that one experiences four or more cycles of highs and lows within a year. By highs and lows i mean depression and hypo/mania.
BP1 usually include episodes of delusions or hallucinations. BPII usually does not have true Manic episodes but has hypomanic ones. Then there is BP3 which is drug enduced manic episodes (if your being treated for depression and have episode) then there is cyclothymia which is a softer version of bipolor. Episodes are not as Extreme.
(anyone correct me if this isn't quite right.)
