I used to take Halcion years ago for occasional insomnia only, before I found that .5 mg. Xanax would help me just as well. There's a lot that could be said about Halcion, mainly that it's a very potent hypnotic and could induce a strong dependance and tolerance. There were reports way back that some people had had substantial memory loss from Halcion--they couldn't remember what they did from the time they ingested it until the time they fell asleep. Others, including myself, had some very intense dreams. Be careful with Halcion.
