Seroquel drops me within 18-12 minutes like drug induced narcolepsy. Cannot be awakened for hours ~ until it is out of my system (12-14 hours later). All activies requiring thought in action, cause me to DROP where i am standing, unconscious for another 4 or more hours.
It is useful to me as a sure 'sleeping pill', but a terrible tragedy as an anxiety relief when i am attempting to function through anxiety while suddenly dropping unconscious whenever i try to accomplish something. For me, it is the 'Life Function Narcolepsy frustration of despair" when it happens, and it happenes without fail. Regardless of past PMHNP's pdoc "poo-poo-ing' this actual truth occurring to me.Sorry if that wasn't what you wanted to hear.
You have my full and sincerest accounting in hopes that you might be benefitted,...and that pdocs will in their heart of best hearts might make note of this atypical but profound response to SEROQUEL.
Wish you the best,
Escher
