I agree completely. For the life of me, I cannot understand why people would want to drink while taking these meds when most pharmacies (here in the U.S. at least...) place an extra label on the bottle that says alcohol is to be avoided.

I have been taking Effexor since this last October. In that time I have had perhaps three small glasses of wine, but feel no real urge to indulge. BTW, I tried a Becks non-alcoholic lager the other day and it was wonderful. Tasted just like the regular Becks lager. Highly recommended.
