In reply to Prozac Heartburn??, posted by luvmygirlz on March 15, 2004, at 21:33:34
Hi:
I experience 'heart burn,' so to speak 'acid reflux,' from Wellbutrin SR I've been on. I can not take any of SSRIs, 'Prozac' is one of SSRIs, due to my condition, Bp II.
In my case, the more WB has in my system, the severe heart-burn/acid reflux I get. Then, I tried to reduce to 250 mg., from 300 mg. However, on this lower dosage, I feel 'depressive feelings,' especially after getting out of the bed. Then, I take 300 mg. WB. Then, your problem as to 'heart burn' might have some similarities, ... if not exact same symptoms.
For me, 'Malaax/Max' with 'cherry flavour' works GOOD, although this remedy just lasts 24-48 hours. Once I was on Prevacid, however this gives me 'dizziness' and 'nauseous feelings.'In my suggestion, try to take some anti-acid remedy you can find over-the-counter. However, if you're med.-sensitive type, you may need to ask your pdoc. before taking any med. even simple med. for 'cold.' Because there is/are med. interaction to watch out, especially while you're on psycho.-med.
