Inability to lose weight on Effexor XR??? HELP!

Hi all,
I've been taking Effexor XR for about 3 months. During this time I have dieting and exercising and my weight won't budge. I've never had this problem before so I'm assuming it's the medication. I have a significant amount of weight to lose, but I don't want to go off of the Effexor! Has anybody dealt with this? If so, what did you do to help weight loss? Thanks!
