I was on Paxil for a few months. It took 3.5 weeks to work. I was very tired for a while, but the black cloud lifted. If and when you stop taking this drug, do it very gradually over a period of several weeks, little less every few days. I started at 10 mgs. for about 5 days and then went to 20 mgs. This drug cut down my headaches by about 30% and helped my anxiety.
