I took Zoloft for two months and had chronic diarrhea/intestinal pain. I lost a lot of weight. I tried Imodium, etc.... and couldn't get it to stop. My doc thought it was my anxiety and depression. But, within two weeks of getting off of Zoloft, the intestine problem stopped. I later was told that intestinal problems are a bit more frequent with Zoloft for some people...
My doc told me people who have sensitivity to SSRI's are often given Ellavil, Trazadone, or those types of meds instead.
