I am on 40 mgs of Prozac and it works pretty well. Once in a while I am not that motivated, but I get over it as Prozac has given me a better life. My Pdoc added 150 Wellbutrin XL but that was not good for me. How long are you on the Prozac? It's best to start on 10 mgs for a few days and see how you are. Then you can try 20 mgs and see how you feel. Maybe it's the Effexor that unmotivates you, and you have to see how the Prozac works. I don't think I'd want to take the two together, but who knows?
