I take Wellbutrin and don't find it overstimulating at all. But also not sedating. In fact I have no side effects from it. I know it does make some people anxious - but by no means everyone. My only complaint is that it's not as effective as the SSRIs for depression and is not helpful at all for social phobia. Don't get me wrong - it reduces depression significantly. It just doesn't erase it completely.
