How does Effexor compare to other ADs?

Hi

I start on Effexor tommorrow, and I was wondering, how does this AD compare to others? I was on prozac before, but since Effexor affects two of the neurotransmitters (is this right?) does that make it more effective? And does it follow that ADs such as Nardil (which I THINK affect even more of the neurotransmitters) are even more successful?

I know that everyones different, but I'm just looking for some kind of feedback on whether or not Effexor is a good bet compared to others.
