JoannaC, I feel for you I too gained a sig amt of wt on Remeron. about 12-15 lbs. I just got off it about 7 weeks ago and I have only shed about 6-7 of the lbs. It is VERY frustrating.(sigh) I was already overweight but thought that being on it I could control the weight thru exercize etc. I wish I had more encouraging news for you but if it's helping you and your moods and anxiety then I guess we all have to make a trade off of -Vanity or Sanity- Hopefully you can find another med that would be more efficacious. W/O the serious side effects of weight gain. Right now I'm just trying to go at it alone w/ just Lamictal, Klonopin, and ambien. I know we all are different though!! Good Luck
