I think you mean 5-HT2A antagonist. In theory it should mean that there is more serotonin for the other 5-HT recptors, but in reality I don't think it makes much difference. Extra serotonin available to the 5-HT1 receptors it thought to be the mechanism that gives SSRI's their postive effect.
