Hi Waterfall,

I'm sorry you had such a terrible weekend. It sounds horrible. I've never had an experience like that with Ativan. I take it on an as needed basis on top of 150 mgs of Wellbutrin and 20 mgs of Lexapro.

You mentioned that you were taking .5 mgs of Klonopin twice a day for a week. Is it possible that the crying jags were brought on by withdrawl? If your body got used to getting 1 mg of Klonopin each day, you might have thrown it through a loop by suddenly stopping the dose.

Also, I think Klonopin is a more potent medication than Ativan and 1 mg of Ativan is not equivalent to 1 mg of Klonopin. So it would make sense that you were either going through withdrawl, or the change in your body chemistry was a little too much and brought on the crying jags.

In any case, I hope you are feeling better today. You might want to call your psychiatrist and discuss the problem with him. Best of luck to you.

K.
