Which techniques do you use? How does CBT help you?
I also do CBT, and its a total waste of time, for me. Although it is free for me (insurance covers) I think of quitting, because its annoying to hear how easy one *should* get out of depression. Its a big blablablalbalbalbla. None of the things which are talked about have any impact on my condition. If he says me things like "think about somethig beatiful", "do it step by step", "take a walk", "take a deep breath" I could SMA*K his mouth. I get so mad by now, if I hear the same old therapist blabla. Nothing therapy related stuff helps my vegetative existance. Maybe I am just jealous, because my depression is far away from psychological nature, and doesnt respond to CBT or whatever blabla.
But I agree, that for most people, CBT is a important tool to get better.
