It's safe, all you have to avoid is SRI's like Clomipramine, Imipramine, Effexor & the SSRI's. Remeron doesn't really raise serotonin. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that Clonidine & Remeron condradict each other. Clonidine is an Alpha-2 agonist & Remeron an antagonist, so if you have a hypertensive crisis, Clonidine won't lower your BP while taking Remeron. Chlorpromazine is probably best to cary as it lower BP as well as deals with SS.
