In reply to klonopin withdrawal and nausea?, posted by greenwillow on April 22, 2004, at 22:48:42
> I have been slowing withdrawing from Klonopin on a plan devised by my doctor which will take about 8 weeks. Initially I had the full-blown abdominal pains and other issues associated with Klonopin withdrawal, but now (in week 3 of the withdrawal) I really am not having any problems anymore, except this general nausea. I have cut out some other medications and supplements that I thought might be causing it and dropped dairy for the time being, but the nausea continues. Do any of you know if it is caused by the Klonopin withdrawal, even if the other symptoms are now under control? If so, will the nausea last until I am through the entire 8 weeks withdrawal plan? What helps it? Thanks!

>Hi,
Remeron helps my nausea & maybe usefull for some of the withdrawl symptoms. It is extremely sedating & if you try it I would only use 7.5 mg in the begining. If you have any more stomach pains some codiene may relieve it, but it will likely increase nausea.
Cheers,
Panda.
