I take 15 mg Lexapro (and also a mood stabilizer), and I just asked my doctor the same question, since I have been feeling fine in the morning and depressed as the day goes on. I too take my dose at bedtime, and I asked if I should take it in the morning instead or split the dose (1/2 morning, 1/2 bedtime). He said no, keep taking it at night. He said it shouldn't matter when I take it as long as I keep a constant supply in my bloodstream, and if anything, a morning dose might make me more lethargic during the daytime. Of course, sometimes I feel my pdoc doesn't give the best advice, so see what others have to say about it. :)
