I've taken Vioxx and been very pleased with it and my friend takes Celebrex and loves it! I think it is a personal thing on pain control. You try one and if it doesn't work...try another. I do know that Vioxx harms the liver, so if you have an existing condition that affects your liver you probably would not want to take V. Best, Pat
