therapeutic lithium levels

Posted by CareBear04 on April 29, 2004, at 8:50:41

hi everyone,
what is considered a therapeutic lithium level for a condition like bipolar II? what dose is needed to achieve that level? i'll probably end up around 1350mg of eskalith cr. is there any risk of lithium toxicity at this level? i'm planning on traveling this summer to somewhere very hot and humid, and it's likely that i won't have access to a medical facility to get bloodwork done.
thanks for your input!
