ALLEVIATION OF STIMULANT INDUCED TACHYCARDIA, HELP

Methylphenidate 10 ER once daily has drastically changed me into a very patient, rational, calm, caring person. I was soo shocked at its effect that I almost cried! However, the one downside is that it races my heart which is uncomfortable. How can I fix this? Are there ways to do such WITHOUT affecting the "brain" effect of this medication? Please Help!
