I have heard of this. But never has been a problem for me. I have put on weight but.
My sister takes it and has not problems but as a guy I had that reaction. It seemed to elivate the depression more that the SSRi's.
You mean 'alleviate'. MAOIs are much better than SSRIs in my opinion.
Now I am on Zoloft and it does not see to be as effective as nardil.
No suprise. Zoloft would have to take the prize for the most weakest anti depressive, anti-OCD, anti-anxiety. Zoloft also has a very bad w/drawal for some folk.
They have changed the formulation of Nardil and I wondered if that would affect the side effects. Does anyone know?
I would go back on it regardless. I have heard many complain about the new formula, but for some it is fine. But I really hope the FDA rectifies this problem. It seems the most simple thing to do would be return to the old formula.
