Same here...and I think I know why.
The Effexor ( and other anti-depressants) keep us from goig TO HIGH...and to LOW.
They by their nature are "leveling drugs".

So no surprise ...I can drink MORE and feel it less...however, it does catch up with you after a couple hours...and then you fall asleep!
