> joebobhi joebob, i am going to defer the lexapro question to SLS, Sand Panda, or King Vultan, as they really seem to know quite a bit about meds such as lexapro...i have had good success with high doses of omega-3 fish oil, EPA:DHA = 3:2, and there are some studies that have shown promising results for mood stabilization...as for an amino acid salt of lithium as opposed the one you are taking, which is a salt of a pyrimidine-derivative that causes your body to flush more uric acid out of your system: the orotate will (potentially) be good if something like gout is present or if you are headed in that direction, i suppose. it is an intermediate in RNA sysnthesis (the base, uracil, to be precise), but i don't think taking it has any effect on this....as for aspartate or arginate, i'd go with the former just for the off-chance that the aspartate bumps up your neurotransmitter levels a little bit....don't know off-hand about the arginine salt, unless you have problems with lysine/arginine balance, but then, you would address that with supplements....so, shoot another post about the lexapro for Sad Panda, SLS, and King Vultan; check out omega-3 fatty acids for mood-stabilisation (~6000-12000 mg/day, maybe more); and stick with your present lithium salt, i think that you sound very pleased with it....all the best, chemist
