hello, from chemist...it's just as safe as 5 cups of coffee, more or less, as the active ingredient is nothing more than caffeine. in answer to you question, i routinely drank a lot of coffee when i took SSRIs a while back, and i lost weight due to exercise and diet, not caffeine. i lost *sleep* due to caffeine. allthe best, chemist
