From Paroxetine to Olanzapine

I have been prescribed Olanzapine. I have been on Paroxetine for the last year with only partial results and side effects which have included anhedonia and loss of libido.

Do I just suddenly stop and then take Olanzapine? How would recognize withdrawal symptoms from the side effects?

How quickly Olanzapine is supposed to take effect and what are the initial effects?
My doctor is of the oppinion that I can just switch!
