I have a terrible time with SSRIs, agitating, and wonder if I could a add a tiny bit (subclinical dose) to boost the Remeron. I went to Remeron after failing earlier this year to titrate on Zoloft and Lexapro. I know Sad Panda uses Effexor with Remeron, but I want to keep away from Effexor.

>Hi Bob,
It sounds like you are very med sensitive. A subclinical dose for me might just be far too much for you. 15mg of Remeron for most people is heavily sedating. Remeron doesn't start stimulating until 30-45mg. Did low doses of Zoloft or Lexapro have any positive effects? I wouldn't try any other besides these, I would retry them at a low dose, especially if you still have some around.
Cheers,
Panda.
