I took Sulpiride years ago in the UK, and still have the patient sheet. One statement: "Sulpiride also helps to reduce symptoms such as anxiety and depression. Some people report feeling more comfortable on sulpiride than on any other antipsychotic drugs." Low doses actually had anti-depressant affects. That stuff just used to clear my head up eothout sedation. If only I hadn't developed a serious hormonal problem as a side effect. But it really did save the day.
Maybe try phoning1) a charity like Rethink,01819746814. They could also give you the phne number to a helpline at Maudsely Hospital, where the chemist answers your question about meds.2) Try an advocate--most regions have one mental health advocate for free wo gives advice about things like this.
It would be neat to know if Japan is still producing it, coz they used to outinel offer it to anxiety/depressed at low doses--and it helped.
You could write the manaufacturer, too--Dolmatil is the tradename. They should have some awnsers too. \\\good luck. \write back when you need to. I have found lithium to help just as much, but I did like my sulpiride. So bring out the cigars.
