I am new to the board (first post)though a veteran of years of depression.
Like many, I have been through them all and then some. Always looking and hoping.
For the first several years of this journey I was well taken care of by Parnate. Tolerance caused discontinuation.
Now after dozens of failed or partial respone trials I am back to the MAOI's.
Marplan is current drug of choice. Now up to 60 mgs after a little less than two weeks. Other than a bit of confusion the side effects are minimal. Just waiting for it to kick in. Little if any improvement so far.
Knowing it's still too early for great expectations I was hoping for input from others who might be or who have been on Marplan. Like many the days are dark and thus any input would be helpful.
A curious point is that there seemed to be an early respone which though mild has disappeared.
