Hi, I dont know if this is what you're describing, but for years I used to get really bad stomach spasms. Sometimes they were so unbearable that I couldnt move, i just be fixed to a point in agony. I tried all sorts, thought I had some kind of dairy allergy, all different stuff! Now I realise it was all anxiety. Im on Efexor (for depression really, but it helps with the anxiety I think) but the thing that helps me if I ever get those stomach spasms is...wait for it...peppermint!! Yes really.
Have you ever tried it? It might be Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which is diagnosed by basically just ruling everything else it could be out. And honestly, just basic peppermint is a godsend for me! I take it, and literally in minutes I can just feel it calming everything down. It really is heavenly! hehe. The stuff I take is called Mintec, but Colperman (maybe spelt wrong) is good too.
Im sorry if Iv read things wrong and its actually something which requires stronger medication (i remember reading something about Xanax) but I thought id mention this just incase it works for you. If it does, its quite nice to just have something fairly natural you can take when the spasm come along!
anyway good luck! xx
