I was put on different psychiatric drugs for about 2 1/2 years and nothing seemed to work. A few months ago my doctor's realized that I was addicted to ativan and they withdrew me. It was way too fast. It took about a month to w/d from and then I came off Geodon about a month later. I am really upset and mad at myself b/c I did no research about what these drugs can do to you and now I have to live with the consequences.

What are the chances of me getting it now since I have been off of the drugs? Will I ever develop it a few months or years down the line? I can't calm myself down. My doctor said withdrawal dyskinesia would have already shown up and that I shouldn't worry. I still have muscle twitches and somme headaches but the worst is the anxiety. It has gotten alot better and will get better as time goes on. I should have used other methods of healing instead of drugs. I blame myself and hope nothing happens to me in the mean time. Have these drugs done permanent damge to my brain and body? Please someone explain this to me. I really need support and help to get thru this. Will things get better coming off of these drugs?
