Lamictal dosage question

My pdoc started me on the Lamictal and instead of following the starter pack, she wants me to increase dose every week, instead of 2 weeks, starting of course with 25mg but also taking 75mg for one week unlike the starter pack which jumps from 50mg to 100mg.

Any input would be appreciated.
