hello there, chemist here...from what i know about paxil, that is likely the source of your weight gain, but i am not the seasoned pro on this board for SSRIs. xanax is sedating but shouldn't be a problem, as you are taking it for anxiety as needed, i assume? as for omega-3 fatty acids, i am aware of evidence that it has mood stabilizing properties but have not heard anything in regards to weight issues. hope some of this helps, all the best, chemist
