Zoloft: somnolence really an issue?

Posted by utopizen on June 25, 2004, at 15:28:20

Seeing as how a sleep p-doc who saw me mentioned Zoloft as one of the SSRIs he suggested I take (he basically named them all) and then ending with "none of them will make you sleepy"-- how bad is it really?

I've heard on this board people referring it to Zzzzoloft, but am skeptical as to whether these members actually took it before bed instead of the obvious time to avoid taking it, in the morning.

I was on Celexa before, and after a few weeks I mentioned I felt sleepy on it, and my pdoc told me to take it at night and this effect went away immediately.
