Yes, some of the withdrawal symptoms can linger for weeks, but the first week was always the worst for me. Sometimes I wondered if all of the withdrawal symptoms were ever going to go away, but they always did. I don't recall anything ever lasting much longer than about two or three months, and those were very weak aftereffects.
