Roland, you are totally correct. The risk of psychotomimetic side effects is significantly higher with Mirapex than it is with standard antidepressants. I didn't mean to minimize your concerns about it. I apologize.
Is there anything in your history that you are particularly concerned with?
I think Mirapex is a better choice than Permax or Parlodel because it works on D3 receptors along with D2. In addition, it is purported to have neurotrophic and neuroprotective effects. But I'm sure you knew that already. :-)
