> BTND and AME, your posts are very helpful to me as it seems we have very similar dx and have tried a lot of the same meds.
Yupp, I've noticed the same thing (that we have same symptoms/tried meds).
;)
> BTND - you've mentioned the great response you've had to Amisulpride before, and now Amis + Deprenyl. The problem with Amisulpride is that it keeps working for some time and then it suddenly stops working. When it does work - it is fantastic med for dysthymia, anergy, social phobia.
>You've also mentioned how great the combo of Xyrem + Adderall is. Which combo is better? When it comes to being pro-social - nothing ( and I mean *nothing* , even MDMA or alcohol) can't beat Adderall and Xyrem combo. It is the BEST combo for making social anxiety non-existent plus it gives HUGE BOOST as far as sociability.
>Also, since Xyrem (GHB) actually inhibits dopamine release in the acute stage, why do you combine it with Adderall?I combined it by mistake actually ;) and was VERY suprised with the effects, since I know everything about Adderall/amphetamine and GHB pharmacology (in theory they should both counteract each other).
>How does Xyrem + Adderall feel different to you than just plain Xyrem?
Plain GHB/Xyrem does not provide this enormous pro-social boost which Adderall+GHB does. Although plain GHB/Xyrem is good for keeping anxiety/OCD away, and lifts mood significantly.
Take care
