Yes, or heterocyclic. Technically, there are four rings in maprotiline because the bridge cuts the center ring in half. However, just glancing at the thing, it very much resembles a typical tricyclic. OTOH, the amoxapine and mirtazapine structures resemble tricyclic structures with another ring attached--I think both of these could also be called tetracyclic if one wanted to.
